FRANCESCO ARTUSATO

"Hunter's Moon"

Hi everybody, this is the score from one of my solos with Hiss of Atrocities. The song is called Hunter's Moon. Harmonically this solo is pretty simple (mostly Phrygian dominant scale of D and some diminished). The sweep-minor arpeggios (13 over 12) on the last 4 measures underline instead every single chord. The tempo is 120 bpm. I hope you'll enjoy it, and please fell free to write to me for any question or comment.

ed. note - The video is exactly as Francesco submitted it. Do not bother adjusting your television dial...

Francesco grew up in Treviso (Italy), in a very musical family, having the chance to listen to a lot of the classical geniuses of the past. He started playing saxophone at the age of 13, but he took music seriously only when he started playing guitar at the age of 19. Since that moment Francesco realized that playing guitar would have become his passion, job, future, life. After only one year of intense studying and practicing, he started teaching privately and in several schools, but that was not enough for him. At the age of 23 he moved to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music, where he graduated (Summa Cum Laude) in only 3 years, with a major in Film Scoring and principal in guitar. Francesco is currently part of a Death/Trash Metal band called Hiss of Atrocities that plays numerous shows in the Boston area, and had recorded 7 songs.
