Finger Twisting Exercise

When I create an exercise, I try to find a pattern or musical idea that will stretch the limits of what I can do, and at the same time prepare me for any future writing or improvising situations. The following exercise is something that I came up with to work out octave jumps and unusual fingerings. Pay close attention to the suggested fingerings and try not to go at this too fast right away, it might take a little time for your left hand to limber up to some of the fingerings involving the 3rd and 4th fingers. Good luck!
