Musical Madness
"...these go to four"

This lesson is dealing with notes in groups of four in the key of G Major. We've all heard triplets done to death but how about taking a look at a different approach. With this [not so new] idea you can create many patterns that are very musical in approach.

The first example sets up the idea for the other two examples. Use the same fingering for all three examples. Each example can be played ascending or descending.

Example 1.

Example 2.

Example 3.

When you get familiar with the fingering you can play them together and play each sequence one right after the other. It makes for a great warm up!
