Welcome to my fifth column at the world's greatest guitar site, “Chops From Hell”!!!! I have to give another huge thanks to Chris Brungardt for agreeing to put out my first Advanced Shred Instructional CD-ROM!!!! Watch for it to come out sometime in the near future. I promise you will not regret getting ahold of the information on this one (or any of the other programs available here at CFH, for that matter).

In the last four columns, I've been discussing a lot of different techniques that I like to use. Now, I would like to show you a video clip of me demonstrating how I put together some of these different licks to make an unaccompanied shred style solo. Hopefully, watching this video clip will not only give you some ideas of your own; but will also help you to understand some of my other previous columns. It was filmed back during the period of my life when I was playing 5 to 6 hours a day (on the average) testing strings for a company called Dean Markley. Check it out!!!!
