Tapping Your Way Through Legato

In these three examples below, you will see a few ways to tap your way through some basic legato licks both ascending and descending. Even though they are written for 7 string guitar, they are easily adaptable for 6 string, simply ignore the 7th string. Always remember to practice slow and clean, you want to hear every note clearly! Speed will come by practicing, and practicing slowly, preferably with a metronome.

To see the above examples played in an actual piece of music, check out my video of “What if” – a tune from my CD “Panic Attack”. Just go to www.YouTube.com/ShredKat
