Neo-Classical Challenge


OK, this is an older riff I was messing around with based on an excerpt from a Steve Morse lesson on sequenced arpeggios (his version sounds really cool, but more celtic or something!). Just for you guys I've made it pretty neo-classical! The video in question was 'Power-Lines' and yes, you should all go get it, it's awesome… What I've presented here is not so much a lesson as it is a transcription. I think it sounds cool… Anyways, this little ditty is strictly alternate picked, and needs to be played with a metronome. Then you need to jam it over the backtrack I've provided… The toughest part for me, was the single-string harmonic minor lick at the end. Anyways, have fun…
