This is a lick from a song called "Country Crank". I made this up in 2 hours after I got done with the video for my upcoming CFH CD rom. This lick is a C major 7 and D minor 7 concept. This is a really cool idea. I think it is better to teach what to do with a lick or idea, you should take a lick or idea and apply it to what you are working on and end up with something new. Play slow at first with a metronome, then speed it up. Enjoy.
