MOISES OLVERA

Sweep-Tapping Arpeggios

Hello to all the guitarists in the world, my name is Moises and I want to show you a lick of arpeggios with tapping. This lick employs two techniques mixed together, sweep picking and tapping, to make a sequence of arpeggios that sounds very nice to me. It starts with a C major arpeggio descending then to a D minor arpeggio ascending, and adding some tapped notes into the arpeggio sequence. The lick follows this progression major D minor, G major, A minor, F major, G major and then I use A minor, G major, F major, G# diminished, and the lick ends with a chord of A5. You must start to practicing this lick slowly to familiarize with the pick and hand movements and with the different techniques used through the lick… I hope you enjoy it, many thanks for reading and a great hail from Mexico, also thanks to Chops from Hell for let me post this lesson.

I'm a guitarist from MEXICO and I have an instrumental six song demo called “LOS GENIOS DE LA SELVA CACKCHIKEL” which contains instrumental metal music inspired by Mayan Mythology. This lick is a part of my second instructional video self released by me: “THE COSMIC AGE OF NEOCLASSICAL GUITAR”.
