This time, we'll be utilizing a picking pattern that we've discussed in the past here at the site (it's the old 3 1 2 3 2 1 sequence, index for the lowest note, pinky for the highest) and harmonizing the idea. This ditty is quite close to something I've heard done by Yngwie Malmsteen in "Jet to Jet" from the Alcatrazz debut. Get your hands on this if you can. Killer playing by a very young Yngwie, plus you get the bombastic vocals of Graham Bonnet, as well. Great stuff. Anyway, it's a cool idea, and a real 'buster of a picking exercise, plus a nasty workout for the pinky. Here's the upper harmony part.
