Chops From Hell started in 1998 as a guitar instruction website. Chris Brungardt had the idea, built it, and has kept it going ever since. The name is an aspiration, not a proclamation. “The inimitable Fulton Calvery provided the name while we were watching Steve Lukather’s StarLicks video eons ago. I proclaimed ‘that dude’s got some serious chops’. Fulton replied ‘that dude’s got chops from hell’. It stuck — I used it. Thanks, Fulton.”
Over the years some seriously ass-kicking players have been involved here. You know their names. The store has many of their instructional titles as instant downloads.
A lot of this material was made in the RealVideo era, so it won’t look like a modern HD course. The playing, the licks and the ideas are what you’re buying.
